George broke no laws. He was never asked by police to do anything- he was talking to a non-official dispatcher. Same official capacity as a janitor... An operator. Martin profiled him and attacked him, then George defended himself. You could say the very same thing about any body who ever got mugged. "If they had just stayed in their house... they would been safe from the criminals"- Martin was a criminal as soon as he threw the first punch.

Stand your ground was never mentioned in the trial- nor invoked. George was innocent by simple self-defense.

Then if you want, dig into Martin's history and find out about his background... what the items he bought at the store were really for, why he was suspended from school. If he was prosecuted for the stolen items he was found with, he would never have been in Zimmerman's neighborhood!
