First of all, don't presume to know my age, as I don't presume to know your intelligence level. Secondly, MOST young people are quite satisfied with their iPhone or Android cameras because they don't need 24 mp cameras to post a funny pic. When they take an interest in photography as opposed to Facebook, they will have the finances to afford the best available equipment and will look into DSLR's or whatever technology is available at that time.

The people who run around with their cell phone cameras are not photographers, they take "snaps" and "pics". Thanks but I'll keep my DSLR and use my cell phone camera for those throw-aways that don't see the light of day after you post them to Facebook.

Tonemapping.

Thank you Linda, Speedy and Dman. Seems that it might be easier to try tonemapping first and, if not quite what I'm looking for, then move on to HDR.

Please excuse me if this question seems too "duh".
Is there a difference between tonemapping and HDR?
Can a photo be tonemapped using PS6 or PSE11?
Can tonemapping be done with only one exposure?

that an NHRA Top Fuel dragster accelerates from 0 to 100 mph in less than .8-second, almost 11 seconds quicker than it takes a production Porsche 911 Turbo to reach the same speed?

Music.......but, just a little different!
