You'll love Antelope Slot Canyon. Best shots I've ever taken!
You're spending rather a large amount for the L glass, and it's worth it, believe me, but if you're going to do it, go all the way. You won't regret it. I bought this lens in the fall (with is) and my pictures are so much sharper. My only regret is not having made the leap earlier!
The 70-200 L 2.8 is. Hands down the best lens I've got. Thought long and hard before plunking down the 2k, but it is amazing. Put up with the extra weight (if you're able-bodied), you get used to it.
I was convinced after asking the same question on this site and reading many reviews on B&H.
thank you for saying so. This was the first photo I've posted...
Posting again. The building in the background is the Dingle Tower, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Every morning on the way to work I drive by this place, and every day it looks a little different. I'm not sure about the color on this shot, but I like the mood.
I bought it last month after much debate with myself. I've been using it at the rink, and the improvement over my non "L" 75-300 is amazing. Extender tubes are on my Xmas list now.
Three words - secret bank account. Believe me, it comes in handy, and I've been married 27 years.
Thanks for posting that question. I ran into the same question yesterday and my computer guy couldn't answer.

Your list of 50 tips is really a condensed photo course -- Just one question --"What is chimping" ?
I asked the same question a couple of months ago. Chimping is looking at the LCD after each shot.
Thanks. I wanted to ask that too.
Okay, I had a hard time getting a chance to do the water assignment, but I did manage to apply the principle, for the first time, to fireworks shots, and finally got ones I liked...
Sorry for not sticking to the assignment... I'll do better next week....
We're only really a peninsula by way of the slightest sliver of land, but in fact we have our own island - Cape Breton - attached by a causeway, which many of our Cape Bretoners still think should be done away with, and with tongue firmly planted in cheeks, suggest full separation from the rest of the province.
I know this is a stupid question - one I have been too embarrassed to ask, but here goes...
When I'm shooting RAW+jpg, how do I access the RAW files? I upload my shots to my computer, and all I see are the jpg. Is there some well-guarded secret as to where the RAW files are hiding? Can I only access them from inside photoshop or some other high-end pp program?
Forgive me for asking, but why are you selling? Seems like you've got a good combo there.
