Look at the LowePro Flipside series. They open from the backside and you do not have to take off the backpack to open it. I have the 200 and 500 sizes.

I made my decision based on what I seen on DxO.

And there was an additional rebate of $100 and the store kicked in another $25. I love that lens (Tamron). You'll love it no matter which you choose.

Tamron is almost $500 dollars cheaper and has stabilization. I chose the Tamron and got the rebate too. Works fine for me.

After seeing this comparison chart yesterday I'm thinking of replacing my d7000:

http://nikonrumors.com/2014/09/12/nikon-hd-slr-cameras-video-features-compared-d750-vs-d4s-d810-d610-d7100-d5300-d3300.aspx/

I am trying to figure out which to get by the end of this year. The majority of lenses I have are FX with a DX 18-300mm.

Here in Canada the d80 is going for ~$3500 body only and the d750 is proposed at ~$2450.

In my d7000 I use a 32GB Sandisk Extreme card in slot 1 for RAW files and I use a 16GB Eyefi Pro X2 in slot 2 for JPEG files that get synced with my phone or tablet for quick review.

I went earlier this year and took my d7000 and my 18-300, as well as a Samsung ST200F P&S as well as a Samsung Galaxy S3.

I just bought a Eye-fi Pro X2 yesterday and it does transfer RAW to your PC. I just set it up to send small JPEGs to an iPad/Android. The only downfall is depending of the size of the file affects the transfer rate.
