Sam , I have a D 810 and a D 850 , both are amazing cameras , I love them both, I use a 24-70 tamron 2.8 and get crystal clear results , i use the 70-200 Nikon 2.8 also awesome, and a 200-500 Nikon sometimes with a 1.4 ex.
These cameras are the best , I keep them calibrated , sensors cleaned and tuned , and also have the Lenses calibrate with cameras , software updated . Since I have been doing that I have found quite a bit of noticeable difference in the quality of the photo. Otherwise it’s just my fault .
I use perfect image in Lancaster pa for this , excellent service well worth the peanuts to maintain these cameras. I just had a new Z7 for two months and it was great but failed miserably and broke on a photo event . I returned it . Nothing beats the photos from my D810 and the best of all is my D850 . Try having them calabrated , it just like keeping your car in time , so many photographers fail to do this.
Just love it when my glasses fog up with glee the s and z are to close for us old guys... Z7
Oh happy day the little brown truck just delivered my Z7 yesterday , I only had a few minutes to shoot and the initial response is amazing , I found what you see in the screen is what you get , it’s so easy to adjust in the frame before shooting , and wow what great results , I got the package from Adorama with the 24-70 F4 and the adapter since I normally shoot with a D850 and D810. I will add some photos this week and hope others that go for Nikon are as amazaed as I am . Thanks the race is on with cannon ,Sony, fugi , Olympus all now in the race , I chose the Nikon because all my other lens will work, so I am in the mirrorless world now
I hav a 200-500 no problems so far, except to use it on my gimbel I had to order a different mounting bracket , the original only has one bolt hole , which for the weight and attached camera was unsafe . Apchanging the bracket solve dthe issue .
No time like the present, keep up the great photos
Great shot, the 850 really shows the color , especially with the flash, I enjoy mine

I wish I could go a few times a year! A 5 1/2 hour drive is tough over just a weekend I leave after work on Friday and get in late. If I can pry myself away early enough on Sunday I don’t get home too late but I find it hard to leave! But it’s so much fun I may do it again after the holidays. We’ll see what kind of look I get from my wife when I mention it!
Sorry you are so far , I am only 25 minutes from there , thanks a for coming
I have had my 850 and D-18 grips for a month .. after a few photos you will forget all about the wait. The color is so vibrant on th 850. Enjoy!
Great shots , I usually stop there a few times a year , .
