Regis Loc: Coeur d' Alene, Idaho

Today was partly sunny and cold, but a good day for photographing Bald Eagles.

Hand held @ 800mm. Eagle was about 125-150 feet away.

Canon 5Dsr - Canon 400 II DO f4 - Canon 2x III - 1/500 - f/11 - ISO @ 800.

Higgins Point. On the south-side of I-90, 3-4 miles East of Coeur d' Alene.

I saw a young woman today hand-holding a 500mm Canon lens and camera. This is larger and heavier than my camera-lens gear. She has to be strong to carry that photo gear around.

Thank you very much, Gary. Heading south on US-95, turn left on I-90. head East for 2 miles, exit on Sherman Ave.(Exit 15). Head south on CDA (Coeur d' Alene) Lake Drive which will curve East for about 5 miles which will dead-end at Higgins Point where the Bald Eagles are.
