Saw this elderly lady watching the children play. So sorry I didn’t speak to her. Too late now. Be kind

I used medium format plus Nikon’s in the old silver days of hours in the darkroom. Digital arrived and I went Canon and a dozen lenses most used rarely. Recently gone mirrorless with Fuji X for weight saving, intending to sell Canon gear. Another dozen or so Fuji lenses waiting to be used. Just bought a Leica Q do it all camera. It’s an illness. Next stop the shrink

Hi. All were taken on my newly acquired Canon 300mm f2.8 on a 5D mk 111. Very pleased with the lens. Thanks for all your lovely comments

Love my L version. Discard the huge Canon lens hood and use a 67mm screw in version.

Whist your personal safety should be your primary consideration, do you really want to financially support a regime that is "ethnically cleansing" the minority Rohingya Muslims?

There is really no need to offer money to photograph these lovely people. How would you react if l offered you money to take your picture?

That's a great pic. Sadly too many hogs spend too much time comparing Nikon to canon and worrying what lens takes the sharpest brick wall. The camera manufacturers love you upgrading all the time. Take pictures with what you've got. Get that moment. This pic is blurry in places yet has won competitions and admirers

Don't. It's all lose, lose. You'll be stressed before and more importantly after. The couple will be disappointed. Could even affect your relationship with them. Believe me your equipment, though perfectly adequate, will not compensate for experience in wedding photography. Being able to organize and control a group of people who think they are only there to enjoy themselves and can resent being told to button their jackets, put down their drinks do up their flies and smile in unison, is not easy even for a pro. I once had to restage a wedding that had been originally shot by Uncle Ernie months after the wedding but the photos will never ever be the same for the couple. Think very carefully
