I'm still having problems, too. (I posted a few days ago.) Their forum for fixing the bugs hasn't been helpful so far. I've been trying to contact them the last few days and their mailbox is full. Best of luck in fixing it.

Accessing Beta through Lightroom is a real problem for many of us. I've never been able to. Wish I could. I just can't get Beta from anywhere. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. Thanks for the suggestion, however.

Fellow Hogs, thanks for your suggestions. I have selected photographs for the Beta by dragging and dropping from my file folder. Still can't get the "generative fill" to show up. I have kept up with each new update. I've explored options under "edit." I still can't get a functional fill box. Still open to suggestions. I will try the Beta forum.

Thanks again.

PS on my last. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, and still got the same. Thanks for any help you can offer.

So...the first time I used this program, it seemed to work okay. Then I went through the scheduled update and now I can't find the prompt for generative fill. All I get on the page after I upload a photograph is prompts for Select Subject and Remove Background. When I "remove the background," still no generative fill. What am I missing here?

Any suggestions from fellow Hogs would be great. Thanks.

Thank you for all your suggestions. I'll probably try to work it out with tech support.

On two of my computers I've been getting error messages when I try to process a photograph with a watermark in Lightroom. Sometimes the error continues even when I opt out of the watermark. In either case, it won't allow me to save the image to a JPEG file. I'm wondering if there is a driver problem. If so, how can I fix it without creating problems elsewhere. Any suggestions? You all have helped me on difficult problems in the past, and I appreciate your insight.

1954 Ford Mainline V8 2 door hard top.

I did chat with the owner who was proud of his automobile. He stated that he always wanted to own one. Unfortunately, both he and I had to move along, so we just chatted briefly.

The color reminded me of the Falcons that were favored by the Mennonites. The black colors were similar.

I love these posted older cars. And I love this one. Sweet rides! Thanks for sharing it.

Ksmmike, great advice about the catch light. I was in a dark barn for Image No. 3 and trying to use shadows to create some drama and mood. Almost Rembrandt lighting. Not quite. Light was coming from a door to the left. I see a little catch light there that could be enhanced. But it's something I will look for next time I'm shooting a portrait and processing it. Love the child's image here. Eyes really pop and draw you in. Great mood shot.

Your comments about these images are helpful. I've learned much from them. Little details (like looking at an image upside down) are practical and will help me self-critique better. Thank you all.

These were some portraits from the last few years, largely from high school senior photo sessions. I often give my clients at M3D Photography choices of an image in color or monochrome and let them choose what they like. I would be grateful for any advice on tonal quality in monochrome images. I always struggle to get the right combination of whites and blacks and "in-betweens." How many of you use tone curves in your Photoshop/Lightroom? Any rule of thumb here? Also, any suggestions on composition? You all have been most helpful in requests I have made in the past. There is a generous amount of experience in Ugly Hedgehog.

burkphoto, et. al., right on all counts. Found the error in my Lightroom setting on my laptop. Corrected it and I think it will work fine. Thanks for all your comments.
