Those are American values used by politicians of all stripes from day one.

Actually no, it wasn't her original idea. The concept and meaning of those words has been around for centuries. There are even Bible verses that use the same idea only phrased slightly differently.

Mrs. Trump is not a professional politician, a professional writer, a professional speaker or a historian. She simply said what she thought. Mrs. Obama did not write her speech either. She relied on writers who do there best.

It has been said that every thing you can say has already been said by someone before. Except perhaps the libs. They go out of their way to express their hatred of anything decent.

At least Melania did not tell us how she h**es America.

Do your homework. Tax returns are private between you and the federal government. It has only been since the 1970s that P**********l candidates started voluntarily allowing their returns to be publicly available. Gerald Ford only released a summary of his returns. What purpose does it serve anyway? When the left was badgering Romney to release his returns, he did. When they could find nothing to complain about, they started criticizing him for not taking all the deductions he could have.

There is no law that requires them to release their tax returns. It is done as a matter of custom.

If you are using Microsoft Edge as one of your browsers it is fairly easy to get rid of this malware. You need to be using a separate email program such as Outlook. Any email that runs separate from your internet browser will do. Simply go to your email and click on any link in any email to a web site. The browser will open to the link you click with the malware on a separate page. Then click the X in the upper right corner to close the browser and all open pages. 99% of the time that will eliminate the malware. The one percent left requires the information qqttc referenced in his link.

He complains about giving the vote to non property owners? That is out of the 18th Century, at least some of the conservatives here only want to go back to the 1920's.

Do really need to make this into a political conversation?

Stupid doesn't have a party affiliation.

Better look again, there are a couple people that look like they are sneaking up on 60.

You're right. A couple of them look like they are at least over 50. It is a shame to think people are this dense.

Notice, he did not ask anyone over 50 which item they would pick.

I have been using Win 10 for months, now I have installed the finished product.
I have found no problems as yet everything works fine that includes Edge and Cortana.
There's always will be some one who will look for problems however small.
I am nearly 80 and if I can handle this new OS, anybody can, just get on with it and stop looking for something to criticise just for the sake of it.
Just because it looks different to XP, Vista and W7 there is no need to condemn Win10 out of hand.

If you look back at this forum you will find the same negative remarks just before Windows 7 was first introduced. Some people just need to provide the negative view no matter what the subject.

While Kim Komandos job is to generate viewers, and she is well respected, her intentions are not to trash the new system. She is simply pointing out the inevitable bugs that make it through the beta tests.

The bugs here this year have been extremely active. I found this and several recipes a couple of weeks ago to protect my dog and myself. I have tried several and haven't found one that works as advertised yet. The biggest issue is that many of the "essential oils" they suggest are hard to fine and expensive. Most run between $6 and $15 dollars or more per ounce.

If anyone has a formula that actually works I would be happy to try it out.

The Confederate Flag stands also for STATES RIGHTS which are being destroyed by the Federal government!! Illegal immigration is being tolerated by the feds, and they are trying to keep the states from ENFORCING THE CURRENT IMMIGRATION LAWS!!!

Long live the STATES RIGHTS sentiments of the true southerners!

You are the first person I have seen speak of the true root cause of the Civil War. Slavery was a side issue, not the main issue the libs would have us think. If the people protesting the Confederate flag actually understood history we would see it flying in more places today.

If seems odd that no one wants to give our country credit for ending an institution as old as civilization while extolling the virtues of Dubai that was built with slave labor.

You are a little out of date. The IPv6 standard was introduced around 1982 as a way of expanding the numbering system. It has been an accepted fact that the IPv4 numbers are running out for almost two decades. By 2011 all major operating systems had the IPv6 protocols built in to them.

I found this on a Geek site and thought it would be perfect for my fellow Hoggers. The longest photograph exposure in history:

I have not seen this listed before, but if it was I apologize for the repeat.

You miss an important point I think. Only about 20% of the population are twirly-eyed nutjobs. Equally divided between the tea-bagging right, and the brain-damaged left. It is the 80% sitting on their cans that are the problem....they do NOT vote in large enough numbers
to change anything. Part, maybe the largest part of the problem is that to many in the middle have taken up the 'Conservative/Liberal' hue and cry crappola so that they only hve to mouth inanities to deceive themselves into thinking they are doing something...what they are doing is avoiding thinking!

I agree with you completely. Some how the majority have allowed the minority to take control of the boat. We have created a generation of kids being told by the government what to eat, how to play, what to play, what to think and that they can't do anything without the governments help.

You say it took eight days, how much of that was actual shipping time? In other words, you place an order and you are notified when it actually ships. My point that the order time to shipping time has increased on my last few orders even though they are Prime items.

It was three days before it shipped and then eight to get here. I try to only buy things marked Prime and look for everything else local.

Funny this topic came up. We spend a lot of money with Amazon and their service is superb. That is until recently.
I am not in a hurry to receive my purchases,so I did not pay the $99 for the speedy service and movies, etc. My last few orders, while in stock, typically took a few days to even be shipped. Not a problem, but noticeable delays. Wonder if my lack of $99 has anything to do with this?? At any rate,I now buy more more from Ebay because of this.

I don't think your lack of a subscription has anything to do with it. I recently ordered a non-"Prime" item from Texas. It took almost 8 days to make it to Delaware. I find that almost anything that isn't designated "Prime" takes awhile to get here.

That is incredible. The Paint Shop video must have involved several thousand photos and a crap load of time to do.
