Black brightens colors and makes flowers look beautiful. I bought 3 yards black fleece from Walmart. Set a piece of foam coreboard on a box on a dining room chair, spread the fleece across the table and over the coreboard. I place a shoebox or 4x4 scrp of wood underthe fleece to set the flowers on. My table is next to a window and under a 5 liight florescent chandelier but you can use any light set up. This indoor studio works great for any objects. I also have a pile of tablecloths in various colors to use as backgrounds. I like black best for flowers.

Great images. A few you might consider cropping a little to make thevirde stand out more, otherwise they are really fine.

I have all my important instruction books spiral bound. I also ask them to put a clear plastic sheet on the front and a piece of cardstock on the back. Sure saves wear and tear on the book.

We got the Pro 100 last winter. Really love it. I also print greeting cards with my photos. Get all my papers and ink from Red River Paper. They have been having all 8 ink cartridges for the price of 7. I used my $300 dollar rebate to upgrade my tripod.

Was this shot in FX or DX? Telephoto or wide angle? How did you post process such a great shot? I can see that just the right amount of sharpening was applied!

Be sure to drive Oak Creek Canyon. Such a surprise to see this beautiful, wooded creek area in the dry desert.

As a lefty I use a Cotton Carrier hand strap on the right side of my camera which helps steady it, then I can push all the buttons right handed and still hold the camera. I do look with my left eye and manuel focus with my left hand. My husband gave me a wonderful gift. A lefty clock. It is counter clockwise. Myself and my lefty friends have no trouble reading it.

Just checked the pro 100 ink on Red River Paper. CLI42 multi pack is $118.99 . I buy a multipak and then change the cartridges as they go empty.

I just looked them up to double check and the 100 is dye based, the other two are pigment inks. The Pro 100 uses the CLI42 series of inks.
