My first DSLR was a D70s... LOVED it!... However, I started having issues with it last year. Only use a 2G card..nothing bigger. And..could it be a shutter lock up? I went round and around with that last year, it had to go to the Nikon hospital twice! - It officially died on my last year. SO GLAD I have a back up! The D70s was a work horse camera for me...so well worth the money - at the time!!

I have to admit ... I've lurked around here for a few months before joining..but glad that I've joined up! I am on a few other forums, but do enjoy the ones that allow a big learning curve! :0)

Not a Hedgehog....another kind of hog!

My love for photography started when I had to buy batteries, load film and put the cube flash on the camera for indoor shots! Through the years I have graduated into the digital world and never looked back! I currently have two cameras that I consider buddies! A D90 that is "Shirley" (Surely there's a good picture in here) and now my newest BFF.. "Laverne" D7000! Last year I had to lay to rest my D70s, 'Duke'...ahh the memories and adventures we had! I love photography for capturing that moment in time that cannot be a do over! I make digital photobooks, decorate the walls of my home and create gifts with my photographs! I live in the southwest with Hubby (my technical advisor), Gramma to 2 Grand-baby girls, and I love to travel, read and make new friends!
