Hi, I am looking forward to gain knowledge from this group. I am new to the digital age. My backgound is mostly black and white photography; 35mm, medium format and I have dragged a 4x5 around for a while. But I don't have a darkroom any more and want to get a DSLR. I am looking at the Nikon D7000. I took classes at the local tech college a few years ago and have basic knowledge of Photoshop. I will be mostly photographing dogs. Dogs at sporting events; agility trials (indoors and outside) and hunt tests. Along with just photographing my dogs doing things that dogs like to do. I am getting a new puppy this summer and would like to have my new camera before I bring the puppy home. I have lots to learn. I have done lots of reading to help me understand the new terminology.
Welcome....dogs are good...lets see 'um
