How is the quality using your existing lenses with the adapters?

Sorry for the spelling error. I worked for the Department of Defense for 30 years. 6 deploys totaling 27 months in combat zones. I guess I'm just in a habbit of writing it that way. Thanks all for the advice. I guess I'm leaning towards the R5.

I know this is something that has been asked a thousand times before. Sorry if I'm repeating the topic. I'm currently shooting with a Cannon 7D. Great camera no complaints. I'm wanting to move into a full frame format. I'm looking at either the EOS R5 mirrorless or the 5D mark IV. I value the advice I 've always received from UHH. So please give me your opinion.

There has been something gained here. I've received a lot of good advice and ideas. All in all I've learned from all of you. Thank you for all your time and knowledge. It is truely appreciated.

I think what so frustrating to me is, when I 'm looking through the camera I can see the detail. The focus is sharp and crisp. And although very small I can see the detail of the craters. I guess I just learned that the camera does not always see what the eyes do. Ok folks thanks for all the ideas and help. If I figure something out I'll definitely post it.

Well I truely appr your advice and humble opinion. This is just one of those shots I have been chasing on my own and getting frustrated. So any advice, critique, or comments are very welcome. I'm just a hobbyists and truely love photography. For me when I get my head in the camera all my troubles and worries seem to fade away.

I was out last night again waiting until the moon was over head instead of low on the horizon. I do believe you gentlemen are correct that its a contrast issue. I did try bracketing my shots but it made very little diffrence. I'm thinking of trying focus stacking using my telescope, any thoughts or recommendations?

I think your right also I'm starting to think the time that I shot it might have a little to do with it. I shot just after it rose a little above the horizon. That would increase the amount of atmosphere. I there was any haze it could be part of the problem. Thanks for the reply, I do appreciate it.

I think it an awesome shot. I love the way the moon light reflects off the water. This would be a great shot at sun rise too. My only tweak I might make in post processing is to lighten it a touch. Not much I too think that the way it is shot is beautiful.

Thanks I'll give it a try. The thing that is frustrating is the shots I've take of the partial moon are fine. It is only the full moo I'm having an issue with. I was thinking it might be a lighting issue.

I have been photo graphing the Moon and I can't seem to get the full Moon as sharp as I want. For some reason the Crescent Moon or Half Moon are ok. Of course I would like them sharper but for now I'm happy with them. I shot both with the same gear, the camera was a Cannon 7D, with a Cannon 150-600 MM lens. Any comments critiques or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I was just browsing and the word Macro caught my eye. So I thought I would stop in for a peak. These are very nice shots, I love Macro shots of just about anything. Its like a whole other word out there and we are able to use our tools to peak in and share the veiw with others.
