I just got one. I have it set to record raw/jpeg, BUT, when I go to download images, it only downloads the jpegs to my Dell laptop. I just use the plug into the camera/plug into the laptop cord that came with the camera. Any recommendations for a card reader that might download both?

Planning to stay near Spokane for a little over a week. Would like some information from people familiar with the area for Photo ops.

Interested in landscapes, old buildings, scenic drives and wildlife. At this point we are planning on possible drives to the lakes in North Idaho, Glacier NP, and Wallowa, OR.

Thanks in Advance, Rick

I had a wonderful time in the Palouse in summer 2019 (https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-603450-1.html). Get the Photograph America Newsletter Issue 54. It provides a description of the area. In the summer the two colleges nearby are out of session and either Pullman or Moscow has accommodations. The thread I included shows the view from Steptoe Butte. The falls and other attractions are worth seeing, but just the back roads with the sweep of the wheat is worth the trip.

Thank you very much, UTMike! I've been there many times for photo workshops, but could never remember where things were when I went by myself. Just downloaded PAN #54... :-)

Has Anyone shot anything with a 80mm clear crystal Meditation Ball Globe?
I am getting one later this week and look for interesting things to shoot with this method.
Having racked up over 50,000 images with my with Nikon D3300, now with a Tamron 16-300 F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Macro lens,
I am looking for something new or a new way to shoot anything,
I might also go with a Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G Lens to use with this crystal ball.

Any Positive comments or suggestion would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance,

Found the moon after a couple nights of cloudy skies....Canon 5DIII, 100-400mm lens at 400 with 2x extender = 800mm, iso 160, f/11, 1/20 sec, live view, timer/tripod....then I put the moon into an image I took a couple months ago at Roosevelt Beach on the Washington coast.

When I started installing Elements 14 on my new PC with Windows 10, the first screen had a notice that the machine needed to be reset, or something to that effect. So I quit and did a restart on the PC, restarted the install and got the same message. This time I selected Ignore and the install proceeded OK. Has anyone else experienced this?

I installed Elements 14, and keep getting error "0xc000007b" when I try to open it. I've deleted/reinstalled 3 times but still the same error. I'm not very tech savvy, and can't understand the "fixes" I read when googling the problem....

Great shots. Was it lit from behind? If so, what did you use? What equipment and settings?

I set the setup up again, and took a couple shots of it with my phone....Most of them are iso 100, f/29, -1 ev comp (Canon 5DIII), tripod, live view, timer....it's a small table that folds, with the diffuser balanced on one end of the table propped up, and the camera.....
