When I begin seeing the ads in the prime movies, that is when I decided I did not need it anymore and terminated the whole thing

A while back I borrowed a Nikon 80 to 400 lens from a friend to seek some photos of a grandson in a musical. I was so impressed with it, but I went out and bought one. It is quick, it is agile, and I like the fact that it goes down to 80mm to be able to cover a good portion of the stage. If that meets your length requirements, I think it’s a great lens!

I have a Honda Accord Hybrid from 2015. It now has 130K miles on it and have put on new tires, a new battery for starting the car and replaced a tire in CA because I hit a chuck hole on one of their highways that has partially washed away, (my Bad). I consistently get ~45 miles/gallon city and some freeway driving. It runs smoothly and I have no issue going uphill in the mountains at freeway speeds. On long trips at 70 MPH the mileage goes down to about 40MPG. It is a touring model so has all the horns and whistles on it. Plenty of inside room and comfortable to drive. I plan to trade it off after another 150K miles.

I was in a street market and wanted to try capture the colourful canvas roofs of some of the stalls. I didn't have a camera with me so whipped out my iPhone 10. I only took two shots and when I got home I downloaded them on to my PC. I was startled to see the second photo. How could this have happened??

It's nothing to do with my PC. The photo is as you see it on my iPhone.

I suspect this has something to do with CMOS. I've seen it before whereby an airplane engine with a prop with 3 blades suddenly has 9 blades! CMOS takes images in parts, often going from the top to the bottom. If there is some confusion with the timing...things change between the parts of the image being captured, this can happen.

The frames from an 8 mm I’m not so sure about but I have scanned many 35 mm slides on a very simple Canon flatbed scanner at 600 dpi and it gives me a digital image I can work with. Then I can clean up any imperfections and run it through things like light room, Photoshop, or Topaz. It’s a fairly simple procedure and it enables me to scan four slides at a time. The biggest flaw in my system is that sometimes I put slides into the scanner backwards! Operator error.
