I ordered a printer from B&H last week, delivery was scheduled for Wed., August 3rd with Fed-ex. At 7 p.m. last night I got an e-mail stating that my package had been delivered. Strange, because I have a ring doorbell and it showed no activity and there was no package at my door. I called B&H first thing this morning to let them know that I had not received the package and they said they would look into it. I also checked with many neighbors in case it had been delivered somewhere else by mistake. B&H sent me an e-mail stating that Fed-ex said it was delivered - end of discussion. So, am I out $700? Neither company seems to be concerned about this. I have been ordering from B&H for almost 20 years. Last month I spent $5,000 on a new camera. Do I have any recourse on this matter?

I would do a police report for theft, this will assist in your case, it also let's the police know of a potential issues with package theft.

My Canon 24-105 lens took a tumble and the filter threads are deformed in a couple spots, preventing a filter from being attached. Is there a DYI tool that can repair the threads or is this best left to a camera shop?

I once had that happen to me, I bought a step down adapter that was the filter size, and outer ring larger, I slowly screwed it in until the threads were repaired. It wasn't "piano" perfect, but I was able to get the filters on. Good luck!

The battery trays will work, I kept both mine from the MB-D12, and use them in my MB-D18.

The D850 uses the MB-D18, so the grip from the D810 will not fit, but the battery trays are identical, so you can use them to quick change the batteries. FYI, I just got the D850 upgraded from the D810. I love it, there are times when I miss the flash, but the other features outway the flash.

I would also go to the FBI.gov site and file an IC3, internet crimes report, if you used the USPS, you can file a complaint with the postal inspectors, they will investigate your case. Good luck, I hope you prevail.

I would purchase the 24-120 f4
Nano coated lens over the 28-300
