I'm very happy you got such a beautiful female Cardinal pic, but I'm not happy to be facing a similar computer exercise.
Seems like I always miss what I thought would have been the best shot. So my secret is to choose the best one I got. This one is a fine catch! Enjoy it.
If you're only going to get one shot you sure did a great job of making it count! A beauty.
Looks to me like you're off to a great start on a birding career! See you around the next tree...
Nice pic! FWIW your Barred Owl looks just like those I see here in the Flint Hills of Kansas.
You had some great poses to work with and at close range. Very nice work.
I really like the last frame with the Cranes and the way light plays through some wings while others are more sedate. Very nice effect, but Harriers are one of my favorite subjects. I always love seeing pics of them. Great work!
Beautiful photo of one of my favorite subjects. I have come to enjoy the female Cardinals at least as much, and maybe even more, as I do the males. Your photo validates such a preference.
Excellent photo of a magnificent bird. I enjoyed first ever visits to my place here in the Flint Hills of Kansas by Spotted Towhees this year. They stayed in my feeder area for four days, then left but returned for another day about a week later. I never got such a spectacular view of them as your photo exhibits. Very well done.
Thank you for sharing a wonderful experience through these terrific photos.
Excellent pics of a gorgeous bird.
I'll just assume this one was a "make progress" day. Beautiful!
Amazing photo session/s. How fortunate you are to see all that happening. Snowy Owl in California? Is that normal?
Outstanding execution of background to subject balance. Beautiful photograph.
