Some Solar eclipse results. Did you properly use a ND Solar filter for the partialities and remove for the totality?
During totality where I went (Concan, Texas) the sky was totally obscured by a combination of high overcast with Cumulus at about 3000 feet adding to the problems of getting photos.
I did, however use a Solar filter for some of the shots - others I took were at between f19 and f32 without a filter.
I shall be posting my results later.
Camera was Sony A7c using a Tamron 150-500mm lens.

What kind of fliter do I need?
I have purchased a NISI Solar filter from B&H Photo for my Tamron 150-500mm lens. Just started using it today to practice...
Extraordinary shots as always. Keep up the excellent work!
I have used ON1 for several years. ON1 2023 and 2024 will not work with AMD Radeon drivers newer than 23.8. When they switched to ON1RAW 2023, there were issues with NVidia video cards, but that is now ironed out. Hopefully they will address the AMD issues soon.
It is a very capable editor and has especially useful and intuitive luminosity masking. Their panorama feature sucks, but luckily there is Affinity for that!
Beautiful image. Good eye! Kudos.

Beautiful light, and I really love Three 💙🌞💙
It was fairly heavy overcast, but the breaks in the cloud made it very interesting light.
Glad you enjoyed them, have a great day

I have that lens. It has quickly become my favorite milky way lens. Enjoy it.
I have yet to try it on a night sky - at f5.6, I'm a bit concerned, since I don't have a sky tracker...
Have a great day
