No, but there is a downside to not renewing. I'll have to look into that again.

"if you do not renew the subscription, there is no download capability. You can't download from your banks, securities, etc. you have a glorified checkbook which you will have to manually enter all the transactions.

the download features are only available with a subscriptiuon (Quicken has to pay for all the infrastucture to may that occur, so the subscription helps pay for your fair share)

you also don't get the benefit of any future features or enhancements.

So you have to ask yourself is if the convenience of downloading the transactions (and not manually entering them) is worth $70 / year......

I've also seen other posts where there are annoying ads taking up about 25% of the screen encouraging the subscription....."

Yesterday I noticed that a subset of the photos I shot in RAW and imported into Lightroom Classic were converted to JPEG files. Just some of the photos, not all of them. I used LRC to import. I right-clicked on the folder I wanted to import to in the library module, and went from there. The usual import process (although the right click on the folder is a new trick for me). I hate the fact that I shoot in RAW and then I don't get the benefits of that for some photos. I noticed that the Denoise function in LRC doesn't work on JPEGs. Why does this happen, and more importantly how can I prevent it? Thanks for any thoughts.

Im messing around with LR now..the one thing I don't see is collections. I understand, and use, albums on the cloud, but collections is a valuable tool for me. So, from my limited time with this, having a catalog may still be important. The collection portfolio has to be stored somewhere. But absent that, if you don't use collections, or rely on the cloud then it just may make sense. What I also see is that someone could use another cloud storage (such as dropbox) to store and edit local photos.
