A couple shots using my Nikon 200-500 with my D500. I have not calibrated it but will follow up with advice given above. I love this lens. Steve Perry who posts on here has an article about this lens and he will answer your questions if you write him.
I carry the Nikon SB300 for the few times I've used a flash with my D500. Mostly indoor and I bounce the light. I'm ok with not having a built in flash.
I sold mine last month for $500. ez I included two lenses, the camera bag, and the accessories I had purchased for it such as extra batteries, car charger, etc.
Hand it down to a young person who can't afford a camera but has an interest in photography or sell it and put the money towards a Sony a6000 for your golf backup camera. That's what I did with my D5100. My son took the D5100 on a trip to Peru and enjoyed using it. My wife likes the a6000 which I take to job sites from time to time. Easy to travel with.
As I have said before, anytime I have been on a once-in-a-lifetime trip, sooner or later on that trip, I have appreciated having my longest reach lens with me. I think you will too.
A trip has always been a good excuse for me to buy a new lens. Example, in June went to South Africa. Now I own a Nikon 200-500 mm lens.
Seeing as you want to handicap yourself. Even though you have acquired a camera that interchanges lenses. Put the 24-240 on it as that has the greatest range. The rest are a waste of time.
Went to Orlando Wetland this morning with a friend from out of town. Grabbed this shot in a moving cart from 100 yards or so on the Nikon D500 200-500mm lens. Not the sharpest but thinking about how I was moving, not bad.
