I had a session with my two younger daughters and my niece. The idea was to portray my youngest daughter reacting to a monster trying to force it's way into the house. The monster would have been played by my other daughter.
My niece would have been reacting.

We took the shots and I started composting. My niece had to be dropped as I realized she was in the wrong place. I added her in as a picture on the wall to keep her from getting upset.

During the editing process, I started to realize that I didn't have what I needed to get the image I wanted. I told the girls we'd have to shoot again, but no one was really up for it.

As I was about to scrap the entire project I got inspired. Inspiration came from the cat in the hat of all things.

This was taken at Ilfracombe; Devon UK. Noelene and I were sitting by the window in our room late in the day sharing a platter and bottle (or two) of wine when the weather suddenly changed. It rained briefly then the sun appeared and so did these rainbows. The moment was very brief and I couldn't get the window open so I snapped a couple of shots through a dirty pane and then the sky became clear. All happened in about 40 seconds! The big blobs are raindrops which, given the scene might even add a little to the atmosphere (well, that's my excuse anyway).
