It seems like a program that will set the imagination free to roam where it will. These are nice variations on a theme.

I have only used it this once as I had to update my graphics card to get it to work. I am looking forwards to experimenting with it....

It took forever, but I've painted another. :-D This time I used the oil paint preset #1, and even it has a few 'spills' around the edges of the petals. I also found out how to use the texture, so I applied a slight canvas. Seems Topaz doesn't know how to do oils without being messy. :-D Tom, the original before paint applied is for you. Do you still see the problem you noticed with the painted rose?

This one is good too Donna, I will definitely download the trial and have a go. Will let you know when I post..... :D

I had a session with my two younger daughters and my niece. The idea was to portray my youngest daughter reacting to a monster trying to force it's way into the house. The monster would have been played by my other daughter.
My niece would have been reacting.

We took the shots and I started composting. My niece had to be dropped as I realized she was in the wrong place. I added her in as a picture on the wall to keep her from getting upset.

During the editing process, I started to realize that I didn't have what I needed to get the image I wanted. I told the girls we'd have to shoot again, but no one was really up for it.

As I was about to scrap the entire project I got inspired. Inspiration came from the cat in the hat of all things.

This was taken at Ilfracombe; Devon UK. Noelene and I were sitting by the window in our room late in the day sharing a platter and bottle (or two) of wine when the weather suddenly changed. It rained briefly then the sun appeared and so did these rainbows. The moment was very brief and I couldn't get the window open so I snapped a couple of shots through a dirty pane and then the sky became clear. All happened in about 40 seconds! The big blobs are raindrops which, given the scene might even add a little to the atmosphere (well, that's my excuse anyway).

While this may look like a landscape, if you look closely at the top of the rock pile on the left, you will see Alvin, the Chipmunk (actually corrected to ground squirrel) surveying his domain from his rock throne.

Hi I straightened the picture and made a duplicate layer, selected the reflection with a feather of 5 px and deleted it. Then altered the levels to brighten it up. On the bottom layer I took the opacity down till I thought it look ok, then flattened the image. Hope you like it....Did B/W but not too good at it.
