Thanks for the beautiful demo Donna. I installed it today but haven't had a chance to put it through its paces. I expect this is going to up the ante in the PP forum.

Unfortunately it seems to have added some white fleck artifacts that I would probably remove if this were mine.

Bob, those are supposed to be paint spills. They're included in some of the presets. I guess some of the masters were bad about spilling paints. :-D This program really uses the resources and runs a bit slow on a large file.

Ah, Donna, so many toys, so little time :) This is beautiful!

Will be interested to see more, though as I mentioned, zero interest in buying anything else for "awhile" :)

Ahhhhhh, the old Windows ploy ...... it's not a bug, it's a feature. Then I'm probably going to go nuts, cleaning up after the Masters as it were .

Thanks, Linda. Never you mind about rushing to get this one. Maybe by the time you do all the bugs will be ironed out. I'm sure it has some. New programs almost always do, and this one is going to take some practice for me to get the hang of it.

LOL Not all the presets have 'spills'. I just chose one that did to be different. :-D And there are some very far out presets that I'll probably never use, but I think it's going to be a fun program to use.

I like the painting choice you used. I just downloaded and tried it out. I think it is fun to play with, but does seem to have quite a learning curve.

I think you're right about the learning curve. So many features to learn to use. Thanks, Zuzanne.

Very good, I like it. I have been thinking of getting the trial to try it so I might get it now after seeing your rose..

I suggest that "spills" is not one of the features you use again . LOL .
I loved the photo, but the first thing I seen was the speckled white dots. Said to my self, wow a nice photo killed with spots .. and wondered why they were on the photo.. I have been to many art museums all over the world and have yet to see paint speckled on the fine art . smile

O.k. Donna, let us critique it. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! To be honest, this is the first Topaz program that I truly like (from seeing this post). I do have the Topaz suite. I am very impressed if this your first go at it. The only thing (and it has nothing to do with this program) that i would have done is to get rid of the chromatic aberration around the petals before using this technique. I think you may be on to something here becuase I have messed with this technique in photoshop and I have never come close to this. Interesting. I like it, and you know I don't like anything.

Dixiegirl... which preset did you use for the Topaz Impression,,, I have downloaded, but need to play with it more before making a decision.

I use Dynamic AutoPainter see today's UHH

In that post Topaz Impression, Smart Painter, and DAP are compared on the same image. The DAP example.. well, I kinda pushed it to be quit far out.

What settings did you use for the original photo.

Thank you, Val. I think you'll enjoy this program, and I'd really like to see your results. It's going to be fun to use.
