I had no problem with my D80 and 18-135 zoom.
My boy-friend was concerned because I couldn't keep up with the group...
Too busy taking terrific pictures!!!

I'm a Realtor and I love taking pictures of my listings for the MLX...mostly condos with great views here in South Florida. I've commented before on the importance of shooting the view from the inside balancing the outdoor setting with the indoor flash usually bounced, both on manual, trying not to pop on the glass doors and mirrors (TG for PP). Recently discovered from studying others, to try to center a corner, even between the ceiling and floor, and beween 2 walls. I recently realized that you can get an aesthetic look by turning up the brightness in PSE, though there might be a better way to achieve this effect...???
Take lots of pictures with different angles and settings...with and without flash...get down on your knees and up on chairs!
And then edit where necessary in PP. I hope this was helpful!

I have a similar dilemma with Elements 18! I made the switch from Picassa several months ago, and I hate the fact that in order to eliminate the "editing in progress" banner after editing, I MUST file to My Pictures or Documents. In Picassa, I exported to file only images or albums that I wanted to upload for a link, or to use for an attachment. Gvaner, you lost me with your explanation! I just want to keep it simple! I'm not a pro, so I don't have zillions of photos, but I, too, could use some advice with the filing system for PSE18!

In PSE18, in Editor mode, on right side under 'Info', click on 'metadata'. 'General 'gives additional info, but 'metadata' gives settings etc..

Try a high (up to 4000) iso with your flash (fill) turned sideways or backwards. FYI your SB 800 TTL won't sync with iso over 1000 so use M. I have the D7100 and SB800 and it works for me, and I learned this from local pro's. Try it yourself beforehand, please!

The Municipal Pier in my old home town, St . Petersburg!
We had this poem on local post cards:
A wonderful bird is the pelican
Whose beak can hold more than his belly can
He can put in his beak
Food enough for a week
But I'll be d__d if I can see
How in Helican!

I saw a completely covered blood red moon directly overhead from my parking lot in Aventura, Florida. Unfortunately, my camera captured the earlier parts of the Eclipse but not the full. There were some beautiful shots posted yesterday. I think your location affects visibility.

Tomorrow as it hovers over the Turnberry (Florida) Golf Course in back of my condo.
