Thank you. That really lets me see the difference. I have done very little with HDR but am trying to learn all I can. The cropping really helped also.

Love the frog picture. The contrast and diagonal lines draw me in. Not crazy about the flower for the previous mentioned reasons. I think flowers are hard to photography and have been working on that myself.

I was told the same thing from the person I bought my camera from. I think it has something to do with the formatting.

I know what I like and don't like I just don't always know how to get it. Focus is something I struggle with so I notice it first. I am pretty new at this DSLR photography myself.
Totally unintentional at the time. I realized right away though that people were thinking Arches National Park not MickeyD :)
I like the second one. You captured the look of concentration very well. I would have liked to see a little sharper focus on the eyes, but that is just my opinion.
