Hi Richard:

You can buy a rubber faced lens hood that you can place on the front of your lens then press on the glass - voila, no reflections. Fairly inexpensive, I believe about $6.00. Also handy for aquarium shots if you're into that.

Thanks for the quick reply with suggestion! I will use Nikon 200-400mm and I am not sure whether there is a such large rubber one. I will consider to use neoprene to add to the front of the lens hood (outside). Thanks!

I do this a lot with the birds and squirrels and get really nice images. As long as there are no lights on behind you to reflect and the window is clean, they can be quite nice. Obviously, it would be nicer to not have the window, but then I would not get the birds and squirrel pictures at all.

Very good shots! Thanks for the reply with suggestion!

Dear All, Does any one have experience to take photos through a window? I mean that take outside photos from inside? Any suggestions or this does not work at all?
Thanks!

Very good lens. I have one copy and used very often for macro. The price seems very good.

I buy pieces of high end cameras and lens from only Adorama and B&H. They both are good. The most recent purchase of ThinkPad X1 from Adorama is excellent. Very fast delivery in good condition. In addition, return is easy with Adorama.

It should have a rubber cover on it. The owner must have removed it and had a vertical grip attached. The vertical grip has a place on it to put the rubber cover, I bet the original owner has it. I would check with the store where you purchased it.

This is probably what happened. I put mine into a small storage on the battery grip when I installed the grip. Another place is probably in the original box. You may need to check it.

D4S has newest processor. I have this and it works very well for all kinds of situation (action, low light and even landscape if the 16 meg is acceptable to you). If you can spend more than your budget for D4, I would suggest that you may consider to go for D4S. --Thanks!

Integration of the exposure factors with the special creative impacts / effects of each has long been part-and-parcel of using the triangle mnemonic in facilitating the learning process of the beginning photographer. Several examples of such integrated triangles are shown here. It seems every photography instructor presents his or her own version of the triangle mnemonic. Why? Because it works so well!

Hello Dave,

Thanks for sharing the information and the excellent work you have done! I love taking photography as hobby. Sometimes, my friends ask me to show them the basics about taking photography. I understood that triangles are key for the exposure from other sources, but not such good illustrations as you presented here. My question is that can I use your diagrams (may be in slide form) to show to my friends or employees (minerals related)? Thanks!

I use Nikon D4S, an excellent body for fast moving and low light. But it is pricy. Thanks!
