Andy - wish I could say thanks, but your assumptions about me- who you know nothing, absolutely nothing about are insulting.
But we have to remember that what we say is only and exclusively a reflection of the author.
You're judgements about strangers are narrow to say the least. And you don't listen well. I never said anything about skipping out or as you prefer to label me a "cheater". If you were open to really listening you would have heard a question.
Why is it assumed that I would cheat on my taxes?? That's quite a narrow judgment. I was only looking for information and empirical experiences. And I am grateful for all of your comments.

I agree with your criteria completely. I use the same standards. Fortunately for me our local store is fully stocked with more brands than I am interested in. The staff are not only knowledgeable, but all are working photographers and are eager and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and experiences freely. They always match online prices and will often throw in a quality goodie. And like the rest of us sometimes they have less than fun days. And I don't mind supporting our local tax bsse. Thanks again
Yeah. That's the point. We're all local to someplace. Who knows what affect supporting other places / states will have on own environment. They need work also.
My understanding is that online sales tax will be collected by California beginning April 15. Paying state taxes doesn't bother me. Every state could use all the revenue it is legally entitled to. Thank you for your response.
Appreciate your response. Yeah, busted. I am a bit of a worry wart. I like to see, touch,feel and hold. Several of my friends are veteran photographers and also swear by B&H, etc. I am new in dealing with the online world of shopping and technology and I have never been very hospitable to each other.
Every one has their own pace and mine is rather slow at times.
