If one checks the actual domestic sales (of your items) on eBay, subtract the eBay fee, subtract the PayPal fee, subtract your actual shipping cost, shipping supplies, time to shot photos of your items, and etc., the real price difference between letting KEH buy my equipment was only a nominal difference of only 10-20%. Not even worth it when I had a day job and certainly not worth my “retired” life style doing photography.

I found the same thing when I sold my Sony A7sii and a lens to MPB, after the EBay and PayPal fees it was only 10% difference plus there were several A7sii bodies on EBay and nobody was bidding on them. I too am dumping my Nikon system (about 20 items), didn’t care for the Z6 or Z7 bodies or the over priced kit style lenses they are putting out. I am buying into Fuji and Sony.

Are you on Windows 10? If so the movie and TV player, Windows media player or the VLC player will play the files. Also did you record in H.265? If so the Windows players may have a problem with that but the VLC player will work. It is a free download and there is no spam.

Sounds like you will need good AF tracking and low light performance, the Sony A7III or the Nikon D500 would be my choice. The D500 will have a much larger buffer.

The D750 will stop recording after 29 mins 59 secs when recording to the internal card, then you have to restart it. If you use an external recorder connected through the HDMI port the time limit will be removed. The D750 only records in 1080, your Fuji X-T30 will record in 4K but is limited to only 15 min. clips.

Suggestions for a good adapter for my X-t3 that will allow me to use Tamron lenses.
Thanks

If you want auto focus with a Tamron lens on a Fujifilm body you should have a Canon mount and get a Fringer adapter. Nikon mount autofocus lenses do not adapt well unless you are ok with manual focus only, then there are several excellent dumb adapters.

Tamron makes a variety of lenses in a Fuji X-mount, so with any of those you'd be good to go. But I assume you already knew that and are instead asking about an adapter for a Tamron lens you already own, and presumably one that has contacts so as to maintain AF functions and lens EXIF communication, right? All the known and trusted outlets (B&H, Adorama, KEH, etc), as well as Amazon, eBay, and others have adapters available for whatever mount (Canon, Nikon, etc.) your Tamron lens happens to be, but many of those don't have contacts. Metabones (generally well regarded) and a couple of other makers do, though, but they do tend to be relatively pricey.

Tamron does not make any modern lenses in the Fujifilm X mount.

It has to do with the stabilization, no worries it’s a great lens, equal to any of the best 70-200s.

Thanks to all who replied, I sold a Sony A7sII to them for what I thought was a good price and I have some Nikon gear to unload. Prices are very close to EBay after they take their 13% with PayPal.

I don’t understand what the tax angle is when you sell used equip to a camera dealer. Please explain.

No angle, I was just wondering if I would get any additional paperwork from them at the end of the year regarding taxes. I have sold many items on EBay in the past without any concerns.

I have been watching EBay, but after they take 13% with PayPal the price is pretty close. I sold something to mpb and am just wondering if I will get any kind of paperwork for taxes other than a receipt.

Does anyone know this answer: if you sell some camera equipment to mpb.com will you get paperwork at the end of the year for taxes?

Shooting 4K video it is tough to see a difference with good lighting. I would have gone for the pro model but the zoom was on sale locally for under $900. Before I purchased it I looked at someone’s 4K video comparing both cameras and it was basically the same so I went for the zoom.

You would be surprised, the image quality difference is minor.

I went with the Mavic 2 Zoom, also an awesome camera, I mostly shoot video with it. Amazing stabilizer on the Mavic series, super smooth even on windy days.
