My D-80,(Which is now deceased) had a similar problem. I found out that it was not the camera, but the lens. I Know that you've probably already checked that, but, "just sayin".

That's OK Croce, I'm not trying to MAKE anybody change their beliefs. You believe what you want to. I just threw that out there so that maybe an Agnostic,(Not necessarily an Athiest) might read it and understand a little better what is being conversed through this thread. I'm not here to judge anyone. I'm sure that you are a good person, and are a good friend to many. As I said before, "Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner". (and we All are sinners. No one is any better that any one else. No one is perfect.

To those who don't want to read the Bible, Read chapter 4 of the "Big Book" of Alcoholics Anonymous titled "We Agnostics".

You want to know how Jesus spoke to me ? Read and study the Bible. He not only speaks to all of us by his written word but he also speaks to us through our hearts. That Still Small Voice inside each of us. Maybe you can't hear it audibly, but You Hear It! As For "Hatred", Jesus says to Love your brother as you Love yourself. Hate the Sin, Love the Sinner.

I drive a school bus, therefore I work around teachers and students and I know that for a fact the teachers are prevented from teaching anything about religion, spirituality, Jesus or God. I was told that I am not to say anything about it, as well. Does this not go against what Jesus told us to do "Go therefore and preach the word to all mankind and make deciples of them." ???That is to say that I Don't have religious freedom any more. You're telling me that I can't do what Jesus said to do. Athiests can teach our children about "Evolution" and athiesm, but I can't say a word about Jesus??? Where is the fairness in that.

You all are arguing "Religion". God is "Not" about "Religion", He is about "Spirituality". He wants that "Close Walk" with You! "You and Him, One on One"! Just like you are the only one. "Religion" is what has hurt so many people. Maybe a so called "Christian" said or did something to you and hurt you in some way. Now you catagorize and blame ALL Christians for your hurt, ultimately blaming God because he has some really screwed up people in his Church. Christians are people too. We are Not Perfect. We start out with a "Carnal mind" just like everyone else in this crazy screwed up world,but, It is only when we truely have Jesus in our heart that our thinking changes. We start thinking like him and changing our hearts to being the people that he created us to be. Not all of us have arrived at that point yet. (Not saying that I have arrived either) But if we truely proclaim to be a "Christian", then we are on a very rough journey to reach the "Kingdom Of God" here on earth as it is in Heaven. God didn't say that once you proclaimed him as Lord, that your life was going to be easier, he said that all christians will suffer Persecution. It is ultimately "Easier ", "Not" to be a Christian. That way you can do what you want to do in this world and think that you will not suffer any consequences for your actions. Science says "that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". When we do something that we know is wrong, what happens? We get punished! It's been that way throughout history. "Hell" was not made for "Man", it was made for the fallen angel, satan, who in his rebellious mind, thought that he could make himself better than God, and to place his throne Above Gods' throne. When we rebel against God, (i.e., say that he does not exist, or that we don't need him) then we have done exactly what satan did. Gods' reaction to that? Salvation through his Son. God said that he doesn't want Anybody to go to hell. He has prepared a place in Heaven for all of us. (There is room for everyone)All we have to do is "Choose It". I know that "I" can not change your minds to believe in God. I can only know what "I" believe in my Heart, Spirit and Soul!, and Pray that some day God will get a hold of you like he did Saul (who the Lord changed his name to Paul),on the road to Damascus, (who later wrote 15 books of the New Testament!). Saul was the chiefest of Sinners, to the point of Murdering "Christians" in the name of "Religion"! "Religion" is "Rules and Regulations". "Christianity" is "Being Like Christ". (Two completely different things)!!! I personally think that when we start intellectualizing, that is when we start questioning. It's all pretty simple, 'God said it, That settles it"!!!

I would like to say, after reading most of the posts on this thread, that we all have our own opinions and beliefs. God gives us that choice to believe in him or not. It's your choice. "I would rather live the life of a Believer in GOD, and when I die, find out that it wasn't true, that to live the life of an unbeliever, and when I die, find out that IT REALLY IS TRUE!!!!"(Something to THINK about)

I saw one of these in a tree in our yard yesterday. I was working under a truck and dropped dirt in my eye and let out a loud groan then heard a bird call that sounded like a laugh. I hollered out that it was not funny. I crawled out, looked in the tree and saw this same kind of bird, grabbed my camera out of the cab, looked up and he was gone, I heard him in the woods, laughing at me again. I hope that I see him again today. I want his photo.
