I've been using Hahnel Giga T Pro II and been very happy with it. Lots of functions and wireless. I only used it on my NIkons, but I know they have for canon as the link below shows.

this is a though question as I also have been dealing with this subject in some Lego photos I've taken. From my point of view, I like it like this. If I should crop this it would be from the top and the bottom , making it a wide pano. Nothing from the sides. But it darn good like this as well :)
I wonder how the night sky looks over that part. I would guess it's stunning Ranches in general I find them good places for a variety of photos. Nature, birds, animal, country side .. what's not to love about :)
You dont need to go to the store and prepare , not a lot of people know this , but you can use leafs to whistle. Hopefully not on a late autumn or winter :)
