Hi ,

I tried making something new lately.
So i took a trip in the cold, under the last full moon. It was so bright that it even created shadows.
two shots stitched together. from my little trip in the woods at midnight. Clear blue sky, lots of stars even full moon.
Nikon D750 with Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art @F7.1 , ISO 6400 , 13sec

Let me know what you think.

I really like this kind of stuff. I guess I'm nocturnal too much night shift work! Thanks for including your technical data this is really helpful for those of us who are relatively new to this as a hobby. I've taken a few shots at night and they turned out OK but this picture is splended. With the stars in the background and the moon reflecting off the tree branches it is very effective and I like it very much. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your technical specifications. This tells a good story.

glad you like it Chevman.
Enjoy night photography my self also. Love when the moon lights up the ground so much and sky with stars. Of course I was on the country side visiting a friend living in the woods :), and it's perfect for such conditions.
You can also find all the data in the download and EXIF data of the file.

Cat Stevens song "I'm being followed by a moon shadoow" immediately came to mind. Very nice

I like it but I like it best when I don't see the road. - But that's just me.

Hi DragonsLady,
Glad you gave me your opinion on this one.Was trying to include the road and the path to the sky between trees. After reading your comment, it surely gave me another point of view on this photo. I shall give a try for an edit.
Thanx again DragonLady and thanx for viewing and taking time to comment

Cheers from Oslo

I like the road. It adds realism and provides a point for the eye to follow. IMO without the road you are just staring into a wall of trees in the dark.
