No problem. You can take your walker up to the plane door, and they will stow it for you and have it waiting for you at the plane door when you arrive. I’ve doe this with my mobility scooter several times, and it works like a charm.

I especially like photo #3. The white structure adds a lot to the scene IMHO.

Stay very close to the train!! I was at the San Antonio train station, having heard an announcement that the train would be sitting there for about 45 min. I left the train and went into the station to make some photos, only to look out the door to see the train starting to move. My wife and I had to run as best we could ( I had an injured knee at the time). We had to jump on a moving train or be left in San Antonio with our baggage in our sleeper compartment. Soooo, take no chances.

The casinos in LasVegas don’t like it, but I have as system that works well. I never lose, and I always double my money. I walk in, take the cash from my wallet, fold it in half, and place it back in my wallet.

I have a Pride Mobility Victory 10 also. I try to plan what lenses I'll need for a given location and carry what I believe I'll need in a messenger bag over my shoulder. The rest of my kit is left in the vehicle in a large Tamrac bag. I've ridden the scooter over some challenging terrain in the Eastern Sierra and Grand Teatons, and aside from some scratches on the scooter, all went well. The trail to the Devil's Postpile was a nail biter, but it went well.

I have this lens, and though it does creep, it really hasn't been a problem for me. I rarely shoot down on a tripod with it, and I hold the lens with my left hand to shoot, so no problem. I frequently am adjusting the focal length, so the only time I experience much of a creep is in using a hand strap to hold the camera, and then I adjust it as needed. It's a great lens, and I enjoy it agreat deal.

Others have said to go with a great cell phone. If they decide to go that direction, advise them to ge as close as practicable to their subject and do their best to avoid backlit situations. I see too many of these shots where the subjects are much too dark, and attempts to lighten the shadows (if the do try at all) bring heavy noise.
Too many of the cell phone snapshot crew are the descendants of the instamatic generation who view any image at all as a success no matter how poor the image.

Others have recommended great places in S.D. If possible, stop in the town of Wall. The Wall Drug Store is far more than a drug store. Everything from a café to you name it. You won't want to miss it. Quite a history!

We took the Grand European tour in 2011, and later the portraits of France tour. Viking is just great. Lots of walking (I was the one always last in the group). The food was excellent. The tours are included in the price. Everyone was very polite and helpful.

I took a 7D with the 24-105L and the 70-200L 4.5, as well as a 1.4 extender. Also a G12. There were times I wished I would have had a longer lens to shoot some of the castles along the rivers, and a faster lens for some of the interiors. In any case, we got some great shots.

I used my 24-105L at the Seattle site. Got some great shots. Shoot available light. The exhibits are already well lit. Outside exhibits are also very nice with glass art work mingled with natural elements.

You've gotten a lot of great advice already. I would just add that parking in D.C. in the summer season is terrible. If you can, check out the bus tours that allow hop-on-hop off. They take you to all the main attractions, and come by very frequently. One of the main stops is in front of Union Station. There used to be a stop at Arlington Nat'l Cemetery, and there is parking available there. If you are not staying in the city, you might be able to take a commuter train into Union Station, which by the way is a very interesting place to explore.
