A few cat photos, some friendlier than others . . .
Looks good in B&W, completely different feel to it. I like the eerie effect.
Good photos and interesting history lesson, well done. I like the last shot the best, think it could make for a dramatic B&W

Tainkc..not exactly sure what you mean.
I was trying to resize all the pics so they where of no use to anyone.
I cannot add to the middle one...it was not cropped.
Out of the three it is my least favorite.
If I was going to crop any one of them it would prob be like this
Whatever you used to re-size your images Did work.
I download the 1st image to my desktop and it's only 135kb and is very pixelated when zooming in.

Just noticed your avatar. I love it!
Thanks Country Mama, I won a photo contest at work and they used this photo for the company Holiday card. Now if I could just win a contest that actually involved a real prize.
Stuck in traffic on the Verrazano Bridge, heading towards Long Island.
That is one of the funniest stories I've read in a long time.
Thank you so much for sharing.
When I was younger, I used to brag that I could answer any question.
Answering correctly however, now that's another matter.

I have an E-500 Olympus. I understand it uses 4 3 system lense.
When I go to buy a new lense I am warned that micro 4 3 and the 4 3 system is different and one will not fit the other. Do I understand that correctly?
You will need an adapter if you want to use your 4/3 lenses on a micro 4/3 camera ( all the PEN cameras are micro 4/3).
Thanks gentlemen,
I was upset with myself on the mountain lion shot because I cut off his left leg, the eyes never bothered me too much but I see what you mean Squirl33.
The Cardinal shot, I like the way he's looking at the mid-air seed, just wish I had gotten some catch light.
A few photos depicting concentration, please let me know what you think, what's good and what's bad.
Helpful critiques always welcome, don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings.
I agree that when someone Shows you how to do something, it is much easier to understand.
Have you tried photography clubs in your area, you might get lucky and one of their members may be able to communicate in ASL, this would prove helpful but is not a necessity. People always seem to find ways to communicate their thoughts.
Best of luck to you and look forward to seeing some photos
When did we turn into a country of crybabies?
Unless a Poinsetta, Santa Claus, colorful lights adorning a tree or home, are actually symbols that celebrate torture, death, poverty, hunger etc.around the world, why would you be offended.
btw, I'm not a Christian, and I'm not offended if someone wishes me Merry Christmas. I just say thank you.

Agree with divinggranny regarding blurring the background which is a little distracting.
I would convert #2 and maybe #3 to BW or sepia.
Below is #2 converted to sepia, darkened slightly with a little boost to contrast and Whited out background.
