A few photos depicting concentration, please let me know what you think, what's good and what's bad.

first one is quite good, but the lack of any light in the eyes makes it look almost like a stuffed lion... aside from that, it screams "intent on the hunt"!
second one, while it's a nice shot of a bird we don't get in my part of the country, doesn't particularly speak of concentration... just a good appetite.
last one, very good study in concentration. the young man is clearly focused on the hoop and is mentally calculating things like velocity, release point, and trajectory... well, okay, he's probably not thinking in those terms, but his brain is processing that information as he concentrates on putting the ball through the net...

I was upset with myself on the mountain lion shot because I cut off his left leg, the eyes never bothered me too much but I see what you mean Squirl33.
The Cardinal shot, I like the way he's looking at the mid-air seed, just wish I had gotten some catch light.
