I use VideoPad Video Editor. It's free, works well, and the learning curve is not to bad.

My D7100 has the same feature. It really does nothing you can't do in post processing. I guess if you wanted to email a jpeg without post processing it would give you a 1.3 times telephoto image without editing. A 50mm lens would give you what a 65mm would.

My Granddaughter came to visit this morning, and I couldn't resist taking some photos. The first 4 were taken with a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 on a D7100 at 50mm, f2.8. The last 2 were taken with a Nikon 50mm f1.8 D at 1.8. Comparing the images I think I like the ones taken with the Sigma more. Maybe I should have set the nikon at 2.8 to be fair. I would appreciate any comments or opinions.

This past Sunday we had winds up to 70mph at the Eastern end of Lake Erie and the Upper Niagara River. The ice boom at the mouth of the Niagara River was compromised allowing a huge flow of ice from the lake to enter the river.

The attached photos were taken of docks along the East Branch of the Upper Niagara in Grand Island, NY. The damage is quite severe, and doen't happen under normal conditions.

I use video on my D7100 frequently to record bands and like it. I use a Sigma 17-50 f2.8 lens in manual focus to eliminate noise from the focus motor. I also use an external stereo mic. The results are excellent.

I use the Sigma 17 to 50 f2.8 ex os on my D7100 most of the time. It is a great lens, constant apeture, and very sharp.

Not only does this photo show what a vintage lens can do but how about what a 6 MP camera introduced 14 years ago is capable of.

If you don't mind manual focus I use a 105mm f2.5 AI on my D7100. It is a great lens and available for reasonable price.

I use a YN568EX on my D7100. It works great and holds up well. About 1/3 the cost of OEM.
