I believe the U.S. constitution provides for, ie "allows", the formation and maintenance of a Militia but does not restrict weapons to only those in a Militia.
Banning of guns would be about as effective as banning drugs has been, but it would increase the price of existing guns by a factor of at least 10. What a bonanza that would be for the black market.
Then there is the specter of our ham-handed government trying to enforce such a ban. Imagine another govt organization like TSA running roughshod across the nation with a mandate to purge all guns from the population by force. The act of banning something does not translate to eliminating it, but the infrastructure the act would create would be far worse then the problems we now have. Just look at Mexico for a example of how gun control works.

I found a good solution by selecting a camera that provides both a electronic View Finder and a 3" LCD. The camera I chose was a Panasonic FZ47 which is equipped with a Leica lens. Cost was less then $400. and the quality of the pix are great.

Obama can take credit for approving the Navy's plan, but thats it. He did make the right decision when the opportunity came up (not like Clinton who blew it a decade before) but it was the Seals, not Obama, that did the deed.
In 4 years we the people have every right to expect our Presidents to consistently make correct decisions, but in Obama's case those decisions of his and his people have been incorrect many more times then correct. His administration just did not cut the mustard, and did not earn a decision to rehire him. We the people gave him his shot at bringing the country back to prosperity (which he said he knew how to do) and he could not do it. Lets let the next team, which has a great track record at doing exactly that, have an opportunity. If they also fail then its out the door for them too, but its insanity to go forward with a failed team and expect a different result.

Romney and Ryan sure look and sound like a real good alternative to Obama and Biden. They are not Supermen nor do they walk on water, but they do have a proven talent for fixing bad situations, and there is not a hint of scandal against either one of them. Obama was hired to fix a bad situation. Not only did he not fix it, he made it worse. We have to let him go and get a new team in the White House.
Obama can now go back to Chicago and live off the taxpayers for the rest of his and his Wife's life. Not a bad payoff for spending four years playing golf.

It's possible you may be right, but I doubt it. In any case,whatever we get with a Romney administration I fervently believe it will be a vast improvement over our past 3.7 years of Obama. It's hard to believe anyone would want a repeat performance. At least Romney has a good performance record of successes, and we really need help.

One thing for sure......we will all find out if there is a God a moment after "death", then....what if you were wrong ?

I use a Panasonic Bridge Camera (FZ47) and a Canon Video camera with this tripod and it does a fine job. It even pans quite smoothly.

A childs life, any child, is a terrible thing to waste. There is always a couple somewhere that would do anything to raise that child. Think about it.
