You know, there is a way to write humor and then there is a way not, to write humor...
This is one of those "NOT's"...
This was pure grade school level... Actually , LOW grade school level... Borderline just plain stupid attempt...
It appears he is not a fan of Mitt Romney. His humor is good though.

If you don't think that's hysterical, you have no sense of humor.
If it was about obama, you.d be rolling on the floor.

Hardly.... Whenever Obama does anything, I don't roll on the floor laughing... Quite the opposite...............

David Brooks is a long-time conservative columnist. He is satirically chronicling the various impressions gleaned from the many public "faces" of Mitt Romney.
Other notable conservative writers, the likes of Charles Krauthammer and William Kristol to name just a couple, are very tepid in their assessment of Romney. There is a widely held belief among those of his party that if he is elected president, which would be the culmination of a six year campaign, that he would once again turn an about-face and become the pro-life, Massachusetts Romneycare endorsing moderate that he has been up until the time the radical crazies convinced him that he needed to dupe the nation into thinking that he espouses all their ideals in order to be selected as the GOP nominee.
The problem is that Brooks bills himself as one of the "conservatives" on PBS (Propaganda Broadcasting System). As we watched the 4-member team of PBS-ers "analyze" (aka trash) the GOP convention tonight, it was obvious they had a team of three liberals and one goofball. Guess which one Brooks is.

The conservative is the goofball. But I'm being redundant.
I'm not offended by what he wrote, after all it is parody and Mitt along with all politicians is fair game. But ... as far as writing goes David Brooks is a failure. If I were grading his writing I would give him a C-. Not well thought out or written. He is usually the jerk of PBS. Not very sharp.

If Romney is elected, an event I am not putting money on despite the fact that he will receive my vote, I expect he will show us all the charisma of a Calvin Coolidge. But I do think he will do a better job and has a lot more ability than the present Nicky No Talent. Oh, I guess however I should mention that Nicky does have charisma. Great BS artist supreme.

Nice
It's possible you may be right, but I doubt it. In any case, whatever we get with a Romney administration I fervently believe it will be a vast improvement over our past 3.7 years of Obama. It's hard to believe anyone would want a repeat performance. At least Romney has a good performance record of successes, and we really need help.
