I just went through the same exercise. For my initial lenses I bought an AF-S Nikkor 24-70 mm, f2.8G ED VR and an AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm, f4G, VR. All the gear is arriving this week, so I'm anxious to see how the lenses perform, but I'm guessing they will be great and far exceed the quality of the DX kit lenses I had with my D7200.

I just bought the Epson XP=15000. So far, the results have been fantastic. Last night I printed an 11 x 14 and am really happy with the results. It was around $370 and handles paper up to 13".

Hi!

I'm looking at purchasing a D850 from Jet Cameras. Do any of you know anything about Jet Cameras? Has anyone purchased from them? What's your experience with them?

Thanks!

Be very careful. I just went through a lot of brain damage to buy a Nikon D850. They are selling like hotcakes and lots of folks are selling them on eBay for $1000-$2000 over the typical $3296 price.

I ordered it from Adorama, only to find out two day later that they didn't actually have a camera. Ditto for Amazon, although they say so on their website. Again, lots of "like new" still in box D850s on Amazon at a big mark-up. Then I ordered one from B&H last week because there website said they had them in stock, only to get a call today telling me that they only have the international version. I finally resorted to BestBuy. They said I'd have it tomorrow.

Anyway, it's a hot item. Last time I looked it was back ordered on the Nikon website, so no telling when they will be readily available from the usual suspects. And forget trying to find a used or refurbished one, from what I can tell, that beast doesn't exist anywhere on the planet.

I don’t fool much in black and white, but these wonderful images are causing me to rethink that. Thanks for sharing, Dick

A prime lens sure comes in handy at times. I don't think I would get this IQ with my old Nikkor 28-300.

Wonderful shots. Thanks for posting.

Very nice set. That eagle looks pretty precarious in the first two shots.
