I worked for the Federal Govt. for 18 years (USDOT/FRA). One thing I learned is that there is no difference between the Dems or the Pubs. They are both rotten to the core.
Who cares? Nobody reads Newsweak.
There are only two kinds of snakes. The wrong kind will kill you.
I have always wondered how they won the west. without duct tape.
Pelosi Galore
I hope everyone is old enough to get the connection.
It is a shame that people cannot laugh at themselves anymore.
Mitt is still more qualified to be president than Obamalamadingdong.
When are people going to realize that gun laws don't work. Chicago has some the most strict gun laws in the country, and there are as many killed in a week that was killed in Colorado. The NRA has endorsed laws for mandatory jail sentences for ANY crime committed with a gun.
The politicians and judges will not go for it.
When I become Emperor, only people who pay taxes will be qualified to vote.
Come to Illinois. Then you get to buy gas for $3.69/gal.
16 years old, started with a Rollieflex twin-lens reflex. I had a paper route and saved the money for it. I think I paid about $240. for it. That was a lot of money for a camera back in 1954. I wish I still had it.
50 years ago, I was a student at Oklahoma State U. I worked for a professor who taught photography there. He had five Leicas, and shot pics at fraternity and sorority parties. He would shoot a mile of 35mm film per year, about 40,000 shots. I worked in his darkroom, and helped to process each weekend's party pics. We would process anywhere from 1500 to 2000 prints, right after church, on Sunday afternoon. It was a hobby for him, and he was not in it for the money. He sold the prints @ 25 cents for a 3 1/2"x5".
One of his Leicas would be in Germany, to be overhauled, and he rotated them constantly to ensure that they would all work properly. Those Leicas made superb shots, and I can understand why he picked Leicas to shoot those pics. Old Doc Pruitt was a legend at OSU.
I have been to all three places.
The UK is a great place to take pics. I love the Cotswolds. Every little hamlet you drive into, looks like something out of a picture book.
Go there, rent a car, and have a great picture taking experience.
'New camera' fever is similar to 'new car' fever. The only way to cure it,is to go out and buy a new one.
A side benefit is that it helps the economy.
Fear not! I hear that we will have another 'Super Moon' in the year 2029.
I think I will assume room temperature by that time.
