Great Composition and Nice Photo. The Milky Way and Blocking Clouds is always an issue. May consider shooting the early morning before the New Moon, the early morning of the New Moon, and early morning after the New Moon. Between three days you might be able to get one Clear night and get a Nice Shot.
Worst case! Get some practice for the morning when the Sky does open up!

For a couple of years, I shot with the 7200, never disappointed me, it proved to be a super camera. I know use it as a back up camera to my D850.
I do not know anything about the 7500.

Shooting at night is certainly a nice change of photography. Later this summer, I will start trying to do some late evening time
lapse and star trails.
