I too made a snowman! I avoided all the problems though.
I made my snowman out of orange snow.
I won’t even mention how I got the snow Orange!
It’s been lots of fun.
Everyone that has seen it on the news comes by and uses it for target practice!!! Lots of headshots. Lots of beer and wine has flowed. I do, after all, live in wine country.
Then we made a snow-woman and she refused to hold his hand, batting it away instead.
And so the target practice continues.
God how we pray for spring!!!!!!! LoL

There was a time here on the Hog when a good discussion about techniques to create a better image were not only WELL participated in but seemed to be welcomed. There was more thirst to create a better image.
That has long gone by the wayside. The people joining the Hog and participating today are at a level where all they want to know is what camera is best to get next or whether it should be a DSLR or a ML.
From that end I spend most of my time today in the attic where at least there seems to be spirited discussion, even if it's a bit misguided.
Following is a link to a Topic I led that went on for almost a 1000 responses about creating better images.
Today, that same topic would barely receive a response!!!
The Hog has changed radically from its humble beginnings as an actual photographic site!!!
