Following on from Infinite ISO's lead do you prefer your Christmas tree decorations less or more overt?

OK let's be totally honest here. Your concept is fun, but your images are just wonky with an overly cluttered room and blown exposure and focus. I think these photos are a good excuse to break out the camera and take another shot at capturing a holiday image of your partner. Practice makes perfect.

Sorry If I offended. You're a very good editor and it looks like you didn't even try to fix these at all.

No offence taken, this thread was just a bit of light hearted fun.

But well focused would be better yet!!!
Some very shallow DoF would have been cool!!!

Have a merry Holiday!!

All of the above (concept and model are good), but...done as InfiniteISO suggested: taking your time, setting it up properly etc.

I did a google search for the images you submitted and the closest that I came was a pic of Mariah Carey in front of a Christmas tree. So, using that OQE (objective quality evidence) I would have to say that you did a pretty good job. Huge grin, taken in the spirit in which it was given.Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year to you and your lovely model.

It is fun, and I like the second image. Is there a third?

There was but I've gone back to the planning stage. Perhaps try again next year.
Merry Christmas y'all!
