Wouldn't that be a great idea? For all us folks that live in LA County, Inland Empire, Orange County or any surrounding areas to get out and meet each other. Maybe somewhere like Bolsa Chica Wetlands, or Crystal Cove State beach. Maybe just a lunch outing so we can meet and chat.
Perhaps other states or cities can do the same. Christmas time is wonderful and a busy time so maybe we could all try this meet-up after the holidays.
Wouldn't you like to meet the people that encourge and inspire you. The one's that give us great advice and help us to be better photographers. How about meeting the one's that yell at us! Lol!!

I like the idea and would love to be included when you set up a time and place....I'm in the Inland Empire as they call it, about 45 minutes before you get to Palm Springs if you're coming from the LA or Orange county areas. If the time and location work, I'm there. Lane

Considering how big the LA metro area is it might be more practical to have several meet-and-greets scattered around. It would be a challenge to arrange due to conflicts of work, etc.

Hey, Gen. Not a bad idea. How about starting a UHH Camera Club in your area?? I bet one post on this site about it would draw a lot of interest??

It would be great to meet up with other Hogs here in Houston, but in the mean time you might want to look at meetup.com. There is a photography section where local groups post a schedule for meetings or shoots.

I live in England near Lincoln city, I would also like to meet other hogs for general chit chat on photography. It is sometimes nice to meet a person who writes words but you cannot visulise but only imagine what they are like etc.

I've had the good fortune to meet with several UHH members. They either live near by or have contacted me when traveling to the area. It's always been a great time and the new friends are always a treat.

Great idea....I'm from Seal Beach and regularly visit Bolsa Chica. Being retired, I can drive elsewhere too....

Only if they leave politics out of it. They just reopened the walking bridge at Bolsa Chica after doing extensive repairs. I was there a few days ago and just about everyone with their dog was there. I wish people knew how to read, especially those with dogs and bicycles. They think the signs aren't for them.
