I be lovin me some A6k. I love to be able to use the old glass (Canon 50mm 1.8, Tamron 90mm Macro 2.5, 500mm 5.6 Oshiro-works great) Love that camera.
Rod, I use to work in Jackson CA and lived in Sutter Creek CA. All kinds of stories about the miners. the miles of flooded mines shafts over next to the Kennedy Mines.
Growing in my front yard.
Great Smoky Mtns. outside of Maggie Valley
we lived there from 87-2001 when we moved down to Rancho Murieta. Used to play Mace Meadows when it was a 9 hole course and used to work at Steve Young Realty on the corner. Loved the Golf course restaurant and used to go there for breakfast a lot. The pizza place on Tiger Creek was our neighbors.
good fishing down at Tiger Creek and then go up to Lower Bear River on the way to Tahoe. My dads ashes are strewn at Devils Garden on Hwy 88 and some in Caples Lake.
Keep shooting. Love your photos.
check out the HP printer ink program. You will not have to buy another cartridge again. They monitor your printer and when it gets to a certain level, they send you a cartridge in the mail. Cheap monthly fee. I pay $6.00 a month and get a color or a bw cartridges in the mail.
I plan obtaining a 200=600 for my Sony A6k. How are things in Pioneer? We used to live on Buckhorn Ridge Rd and go to Sierra Baptist Church. Remember the old VHS Rental place there on the corner? Also lived down on Tiger Creek Road.
this is as cold as I want to get. Up on the Smokys at Maggie Valley.
I grew up around the Cincy area on the Ky side. Ft. Mitchell KY and saw a bunch of snow and also lived in the Sierras in California for a long time. We lived at the 3500 foot elevation which was the snow line, so we got dumped on a few times. One particular time got 36 inches in a day and a half, we had to have a snow plow clear our 150 foot driveway and had to dig out the electric gate. Not fun, so my friend........screw that snow stuff.
Nice shots. Love the farm and barn shot. the other picture...... what is that white stuff in the trees???? I live in South Carolina and we don't have to shovel sunshine.
I really like your captures.... good eye.
