Yes I realize now the Microsoft Word does wierd things to graphics, but half way through my Christmas gift project I have to continue in this format. But it is a lesson learned. The receivers of my pictures will not be critical, close friends and family who will be happy to get them.
Oh well, next year..............
Thanks,
Wendy

Yes there are profiles to follow in the box of paper and I thought I had it right. But I first worked the pictures in Photoshop but then they are transfered to MC Word for the templates of the prints.
Thanks,
Wendy.

Hello all,
I am using the Red River double sided 32 pd Prem Matte on my Canon printer. The results were not great until I changed the printer settings from matte paper to other photo paper. Some of my pictures were not the best to start with but even the good ones the color was just not right. I had carefully edited and corrected in Photoshop 7.
Any comments.

Good morning, I am also a great believer in backing up to external drives. I have two and although my pictures are not ever going to be world famous, I want to keep them safe! Just yesterday I was shooting an awards ceremony and the SD card suddenly stopped, I always have a couple of cameras and there was not time to change cards, so thankfully the other camera caught the moment. I cleared of the card when I got home and it seems OK? But I have had it happen before with various cameras. I usually clear off the card and on to the computer and then onto an external drive when I get home. Yes you can be paranoid but a picture is a moment of time that will never happen again.

I have finally sort of got Windows 8 into my old brain and it is sort of OK. I keep getting the screen that wants me to convert to the upgraded version. Has anyone done this and if so what was the result? Is it better? Are you happier?
Thanks,
Wendy
Thank you too to our Veterans today.

Looks great to me. I can only imagine the hours it took you! I did a horse show once it seemed when ever the horse was doing something interesting it was always in front of a trailer or advertisement or something. I think you did a terrific job. Just wondering what tools did you use the most?

Hello All,
Has anyone used this and what sort of result? RR paper has it on sale now and I am thinking about trying it. I have a regular (not special) Canon printer.
Thanks,

Welcome Karla, I am just up the road in Cocoa. I am a hobby photographer, mostly dogs as that is my major hobby and interest. At least we have a lot of interesting birding places around here and this is a good time of the year to start.
Have fun.

It will work? Wow that would be great, I just hesitate to try it as the disc is so old now. Is is possible for you to clarify a little more if you have time the installation process. On Windows 8 I fear I would never find it again!
Thank you so much.

I was at a craft fair today and a gentleman had pictures for sale. I asked what editing program he used, of course I did not write it down but I think it was something like Life Line? He said it was simple to use and as good and less expensive than Photoshop. I know Photoshop 7 will not load on my Windows 8 computer. Any ideas on this program?
Thanks,
Have a good weekend.

Yes we have two black Labs. Usually three as I raise pups to be quide dogs and they are black Labs also. We love them dearly and they have a busy life, our oldest takes care of my husband who has mobility problems. My younger dog is a Therapy Dog and visits schools to read with the students. She also is my partner in Canine Freestyle.
Attached is a picture I took using a baggie, actually the newspaper wrapping. hopefully it opens?

Hello all, I read the links to the 'baggie over the lens' idea, looks like fun, has anyone tried it and what sort of results?
