A Nuthatch "right side up" would look unnatural to anyone who knows the bird. Walking down a tree is a behavior they are best known for. Don't mess with Mother Nature or your local Nuthatch.

That was my first thought! Being upside down is there natural pose.
She frequently has bloodshot eyes? Nice photo. Have her try some Visine!
They are SUCH a nuisance....but so darn cute. A very nice/fun photo!
Beautiful photos. I can almost smell the cold north Atlantic breeze and the fog! Makes me homesick (but only in summer!)
A lot of RE photography these days features HDR - "High Dynamic Range" - photos. This is a technique, in short, is where three or more photos are taken with normal exposure, overexposure, and underexposure - the photos are then blended into one, which has all areas of the photo exposed more or less correctly. You probably have seen these and not realized how they were done - an interior scene looks good and the view out the window, or down the darker hallway - also looks good. Many newer cameras do in-camera HDR - you do not have to process the images in a computer after you take the photo (the camera takes three photos when you press the shutter button). So - a camera that takes in-camera HDR, and a wide angle lens (10-22mm for example) and a standard zoom with a range of 24-104 or so - should do you well. But you also want one that doesn't have a steep learning curve. If you have a really good camera store (a REAL camera store) near you, visit them and tell them what you need and look at the range of options.

Remember the old 5.25 inch floppies? I found out the hard way that one DOES NOT lean that sucker up against a phone. When the phone rang, it scrambled the data worse than my morning scrambled ham & and diced eggs.
An old ringer bell used electromagnets to move the clanger back and forth - easily creating a field enough to scramble the data on a floppy! The old days of telephone switching were great. People put little locks on their rotary phone dials so that (in theory) you could not dial out, but hitting the hang-up button in the cradle eight times fast did exactly the same thing as turning the rotary dial to "8", so if you had nimble fingers you could still make calls.. The most popular magazine volume in the MIT Engineering Library in the early 1970's was the issue of the Bell Labs Journal discussing a "potential future telephone switching technology" - a switching technology which WAS adopted (until digital). Understanding that technology made it very simple to construct devices which allowed you to dial anywhere in the world while bypassing any billing responsibility. One of the devices was named "The Spiro" (after then vice-president Agnew). For a short time some people had a lot of fun chatting with folks around the world for free. Now we have the internet and it is not so special any more...

That is a pretty long list of negative attributes but they all seem to fit. The question I have is how in the world did he get to be President not once but twice and then he says that he could win a third term if it was permited.
Well, one has to consider the "third term" quote in context. But seeing as who we have running now, I suspect that he could win a third term.
Nice photos, Tad. And this time of year there is not so much action there! Too hot for even the birds and the gators...

It is NOT unusual and part of a contract. End of story.
It is BENDING for the guests too. I have seen photographer quit a job in the middle because of this. They won in court too. It is the responsibility of the contract signator to insure the contract is respected through a designated representative.
A contract between two parties is NOT binding on others. This is between the wedding party and the photographer. If it is an important issue to the photographer, then it is incumbent on the wedding party to enforce it with THEIR guests. Depending upon the contract between the photographer and the wedding party, the photographer may not have been sued for failure to deliver a product if they walked out because of a breach of an obligation by the OTHER signer of the contract - the wedding party.
If you search for this topic you will find that it has been beaten to death. Many times over.
