Many thanks CHG_CANON. I sent them at 3000 pixels on the long side and they were received as 640 pixels which gave too small a print for the magazine at 300 dpi.. I ended up handing them over on a thumb drive so that solved that particular problem. But for the future I guess I could use Dropbox or SmugMug but it would also be nice just to be able to send a quick email and have them transfer at the intended resolution. Interesting feature of Apple email - I just tried sending an image on my Apple iPhone and it actually asked me to select one of several image sizes, including full original image size. I’ll check again in the desktop version.

If I export a photo out of Lightroom I end up with a JPG around 6 to 7 Mb in size. Actual dimensions of photo are 300 DPI and is 3000 pixels on the long side. Then using my MacBook Pro I email it to someone via the Apple Mail program it comes out the other end as like around 160Kb.
What setting can I change to keep the file the same size?

To beep or not to beep is the question I ask

I like the beep but then it’s pretty quiet and I don’t always hear it being almost deaf. When I do hear it it’s a nice reminder that I am not totally deaf. Thanks
