Very nice😄. What lens is it?
GENorkus, I hope your right. I am working hard to get this role of film shot. Hard to do in Washington state this time of year.
I just dragged my old Pentax K1000 out of the closet last week. I have taken 7 images with it so far. Hopefully they come out. Crossing my fingers.
Not to mention the cop in California that was shot and k**led by a reported illegal. Money is one thing but a life is worth much more. So sad.
I think B. For me unless it is a full landscape less is better. Just how I see things.
I have a Microsoft Surface with windows10. I first go to my picture file on the computer and create a new folder for the images I want to download.
Then connect the camera to the computer and select the images. I hit "control C" which is copy.
Then go back to the computer folder and paste those images "Control V".
I know that is a long way around but I am comfortable doing it that way.
You do no have to shut up at any point. I like you, served this country for 30 years in a different form, military service. You have the right to speak your mind and have done it with class and respect. I respect that. I understand your predicament and understand following orders. Sometime it just hurts to do that, but just needs to be done.
I for one think we should fire all in Washington at this point, for if I ever failed to do my job would surely be fired. Just my 2 cents worth.
I thank everyone for the comments. Yes this is what I called a "Science Project". Because I am retired and have the time, I wanted to give film a try. My boys used this same Pentax in their high school photo classes in the 80s and took some amazing images.
Today I am headed to a camera shop in Lakewood that carries the film and also will develop with negatives and the CD. With all this info I am armed with lots of info to ask more questions to be sure I get the products I want.
Thank you all for the insight. As usual this forum rocks.
Thanks
Keith S
Thanks, I will look that up.
Hi all UHH members.
I just pulled my old Pentax K1000 camera off the shelf and have decided to try shooting some landscape with it. I am thinking of using the Kodak Ektar 100 film. This is sort of a science project for me. I will be taking the exact same landscape photo with my Canon digital just to see the difference. Fun Fun Fun. Nothing like a good science project.
My real question is how is this film developed and if I get a good photo, how do I get maybe an 11x 14 or so for my wall? I only remember the old days I would get a photo to put in an album.
So any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
Keith S
Ok, you just blew my mind up with all that tech talk. Lol.
Where is this barn? I recognize it but can't remember where it is at.
Great B&W.
Oh my, every time I see one of your posts I am impressed. Keep them coming.
Oh so close tonight. T-7 seconds and it was shut down. I worked on many many launch systems in the 80s and 90s. These things are so complicated.
I still get chills every time I see these. Go America !!!
Just checked the website. Launch is delayed until Saturday.
