The original poster's problem, as I quoted was the same as mine, was an internal problem, not the end mount. Thank you anyway-should I ever need this, although I avoit plastic mounts which seem to come with 'kit' lenses.

Here is a youtube video on how to replace the mount:

After I sent my 'critique' I worried about how you may take it. I meant it all in the most sincere way. I think you have great potential ahead of you, and you will find you will become your most ruthless critic. When I was working I had to develop a pretty thick skin. It was pretty frustrating when I previewed to management and customers and eventually developed a tact for arguing for justifying why I did certain things within the production. I think the customer came to respect my judgement more when I explained my reasoning. Anyway, I wish you the best. Thanks for indulging my two cents.

It's the front part that's loose. The part of the lens that moves in and out.
Anybody fixed one like that?
Dave
There are YouTube videos on either this lens, or similar lenses. I have the same lens with the same problem. Too much to send in so I'm going to try to fix myself. If I can't, then I will sell parts on eBay. Good luck.
I assume you sincerely want constructive feedback on the video's impact. As a retired video producer, (also a 'one-man- band' of a writer, videographer, and editor), I will offer my perspective:
If your theme was how your company takes the high road of a dirty business, being environmentally responsible, then maybe the most effective line to open the video was "Mining is a dirty business!" The music was distracting and maybe a different selection portraying a conflict or sorts, transitioning to a smoother/pleasing background when your company steps into the picture to clean up the mess, so to speak.
More closeups of the state-of-the-art equipment being used, and phases of the smelting process, instead of wide/medium shots of some minimum-wage guy, with his shirt tail hanging out doing it all. This implies anyone can do this job? A closeup/clean shot of the end product was needed.
I had to be very critical with my own work because others were-I worked for a very large corporation and my work was previewed by committees, and we know how that works. You have a very nice voice by the way, nice pacing.
I will be watching the responses/suggestions here as well. I don't have a scanner yet worthy of this task. On 'screening' the negs, maybe do it like when we were doing darkroom work? Specifically, a light box and a loupe. Seems this method might be a way to sort the 'wheat from the chaff,' so to speak.

Here in the UK cables such as electric, phone or TV are usually buried underground so they do not get affected by weather conditions.
However is does not mean that any services which are underground do not break down, but it does make the towns and villages look more attractive without all those overhead wires showing.
Amazing, and I bet they've done better in the UK than in the States in keeping up your infrastructure. Here in Kansas our Governor Brownback robs the highway funds to pay for tax breaks for the wealthy.
I am pretty sure Boeing used Nikon D200's to shoot the time-lapse scenes in StL.
Selling for $350-including shipping to CONUS. PayPal. I will allow a three-day inspection, 14 day refund, but return at buyers expense. I originally bought this from Nikon Refurbished, enjoying for last couple of years, this is equivalent to a 105-450mm on a DX body.
I sold this lens previously to an older UHH'er, but he returned saying "It was too heavy." I refunded his money and I stand behind my word that this is a clean and nice lens, always a filter on lens. Includes lens, front and rear caps, Tiffen 67mm UV filter, and shade. Please PM me for any questions. Thank you.
My bad, sorry-corrected to 'UHH.'

This is my first time selling on UHH and I will stand behind my word that this is a clean lens, always a filter on lens. I want to remain a UHH member in good standing. Includes lens, front and rear caps, Tiffen 67mm UV filter, and shade. Please PM me for any questions. Thank you.
Congrats! Can we get a 'preview' of what you submitted?

Hello;
I just found out that an image I made of a horse race for a college class project has made it into the finals for the 36th Annual College and High School Photography Competition from over 14,000 entries Worldwide. It now moves on with the other finalists to a committee of Professional Photographers and College Photography Educators for final judging..

I have a couple of Thom Hogan's books:
Nikon D80 To Go; and, Nikon D300 & D300s To Go Guide.
I'll give them free to any UHH'er for just a couple of bucks for postage. I'll check out PO Monday for exact first class cost. I've got a PayPal account. PM if interested.
Do you have pictures of these items please?
