Purchased a 7DII over 2 years ago. Love the 10FPS as I shoot a lot of sports. Very reliable, well built and focus is fast. When shooting sports outdoors love my Canon 70-200 f4L. When shooting a baseball game you can freeze the batter and still show motion on the ball. Nice crisp snaps.

Have seen this before on after market batteries. Does it say Canon or for Canon? The batteries look identical. Own 3 Canon cameras with grips and have found that Wasabi batteries work in all of them with no issues. Years ago tried another brand which I bought from Amazon and they did not work in my 5DI. Contacted Amazon and they immediately issued me a call tag to return them. The day the carrier scanned that tag I got a credit. Personally I find no problem with after market batteries of good quality as Wasabi.

Use a pair of Yongnuo 685's with a YN622 they are ETTL and work great at a great savings verses Canon speedlites. You can purchase a pair of 685's plus the flash controller for less than the cost of one canon speedlight and get the same results IMO...

Good advice Jerry....The 70-200 being one of the most popular lenses IMO comes in variation. Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Tamron all have their variations of this lens. Many different generations...Do your research before purchasing. A $400.00 f4 is not the same as a $1500.00 f2.8 with image stabilization or VR.

Use a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 as my walk around lens and it is outstanding. A pro friend of mine suggested this lens over the 24-105 and it absolutely preforms very well. Like the f2.8 for low light. Consider the Canon 70-200 f4 L lens. Great lens...

The 7DII is a great camera. With this body you can use both crop and full frame lenses. Love mine with the 70-200 f2.8 lens. I shoot a lot of sports and this camera does the trick. The upgrade from a T2i will be noticeable and with good glass even more.

Have 3 DSLR's and one film camera...all have their place, my 7DII for sports, 5D for indoor and portraits, the T5i for usually outdoor trips I take and don't feel like taking a tank camera with me. The Olympus OMG 35mm film camera haven't used in years. Why use it? If I was looking for one camera to do it all, guess my Canon point and shoot might do it, or my phone!!! I like different camera bodies for different situations.

Canon APS-C cameras will accept a Canon, Sigma, Tamron etc. FF lenses. Canon FF bodies only accept a full frame lens. Using a full frame lens on a crop body you will lose a little bit but nothing noticeable. I use a Canon 7DII for sports photography and a Canon 70-200 f2.8 lens (full frame lens) and get great results. The 10 FPS was what got me to buy this camera. The 5D (full frame) I have also produces great shots but not for sports.

My 9 year old grandson wants a camera for his 9th birthday....Pictures and video. Went to Canon and got a refurbished SX710 HS, which didn't break the bank. He's responsible and is willing to learn. This an a couple SD cards will get him started, with my help. I look forward to this venture...

Have never had an extended warranty on any of my cameras and have not needed it. Take care of your gear and it takes care of you. They only time I've sent a camera into Canon was just recently and it's the oldest DSLR I have, a Canon 5D and after 11 years I figured it needed a good cleaning after almost 100,000 clicks. That was my choice and it came back with a clean bill of health and is still clicking along. I've been shooting over 40 years and this is my experience...If it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to have that extra coverage than go for it.

Use Tamron and Sigma lenses and have had no issue with them at all. As far as batteries are concerned use Wasabi for all my Canons and again never a problem. For flashes use Eneloop batteries and have never had a problem. Grips are another story, got a 3rd party grip for my 7DII and have had issue this that, it would cut out or not power up my camera when the batteries were at full charge (even when using Canon Batteries). Much more expensive replaced it with a Canon grip and have never had that problem since. Tamron and Sigma lenses are a great lens, saving you a few dollars and getting great results. My favorites are my Sigma 24-70 f2.8 and the Tamron 70-200 f2.8.

Over the years have made many purchases from KEH. As many have stated their rating system in general is better in (my opinion) than they rate. Yesterday took advantage of their Black Friday special, 25% off. Purchased a battery grip for my 7DII and saved almost $40.00 and no sales tax, think there was a year warranty included. Great company to do business with.

Grammy M KEH deals in used Cameras, Lenses and Accessories.

Have 3 Canon bodies and have shot over 500 clicks on a single battery with no problem. Most of the time with no flash. Do have a T5i I use on occasion and have never had it run out of power. The extra battery is a must just in case. The t5i is probably the closest I have to the t6, with the spare you should be good for 1000 clicks. Happy shooting!!!
