Sounds like you probably prefer the 'Flatten Image' selection at the bottom of the menu to acheive some efficiency you are used to from CS5 (where that is the default menu setup). I'm not sure if you can re-order the menu items in CS6, like you can't in CS5, but you can at least turn off the appearance of items below 'Flatten Image' if you want.
Here's an instructional video on customizing menus in CS6. You will note that it is Chapter 20 of 34 in a series, "Photoshop CS6 101: Mastering The Workspace by Jim Kanter." (Since I just found it, I plan on spending some time watching the other 33 chapters!)
...After messing around with this a bit, I realized that what you probably want to change is the right-click "context" menu, which doesn't change with 'Panel Menu' changes (like you would think it probably should!), so I'm guessing the approved Adobe answer is probably, "sorry, you can't do that."

You are right this is what I was trying to do, CS5 has flatten image at the bottom of the right click context menu and when CS6 came out they just put all the 3D stuff at the bottom of the menu. I was always clicking on the postcard which is now the boring one. I did however assign it to crtl-F which was currently for the last filter used shortcut, which I never remember what the last one I used anyways-- LOL
Thanks for the help on this, now I just have to remember that I created a shortcut and quite right clicking
